Our Story

No One Will Sleep Hungry emerged as a pursuit to mitigate the impacts of the pandemic on the underprivileged by connecting them to the right philanthropic sources.

"As COVID-19 cases rapidly towered across the globe, many countries hastily went into lockdown. Among them was my home country India. The lockdown in India unleashed an unprecedented economic catastrophe especially for the underprivileged. A humanitarian crisis tore apart poor communities as millions were forced to move back to their native villages from their places of work. Daily wage workers were forced to walk hundreds of kilometres to return back to their homes. Suffering from extreme starvation, many of them drew their last breath. Incredibly moved by this, I started No One Will Sleep Hungry to ensure communities no longer suffered due to food insecurity".
